Anastasia started her music education at age five and continuously participated in musical and cultural events, including annual “Young Talents” competitions, where she won multiple awards, earning prizes for 1st and 2nd place in 1988 and 1999.

She continues to give highly successful performances in many venues in the area. Anastasia has a busy calendar teaching; however, she also accommodates her listeners’ requests for private and public concerts. You may contact her by phone or email.

To whom it may concern,

I’m writing to enthusiastically recommend Ms. Anastasia Kitaev as a piano teacher.

Our daughter studied with Anastasia during her early high school years. Since our family moved several times our daughter was taught by six different piano teachers and we can unequivocally state that Anastasia was the best teacher she had.

Anastasia’s teaching combines a commitment to technical rigor with a search for each student’s own artistic expression. Gold medals at recitals and excellent scores on the piano syllabus are evidence from our daughter of the success of Anastasia’s approach. I would add that while Anastasia sets clear expectations for hard work and excellence, she is also compassionate in understanding that kids are human and have multiple facets to their lives.

Having heard her perform I can also state that Anastasia is a consummate musician in her own right.

Sincerely,

Jeff Frkonja
